While at the height of the Cold War, it was
assumed that World War III would mean nuclear Armageddon and the extinction of
the human race, most experts today believe such fears are exaggerated. Experts
speaking at the meeting say it
unlikely that the United States and Russia would fire their entire nuclear
arsenals at each other, lighting up the globe, and in most current scenarios
would actually be allies.

I'm a huge fan of Fokofpolisiekar, their music is the first of its kind in Afrikaans, their lyrics, the first of its kind in South Africa. Their words are attached to emotions that was indescribable at that point. Their success is also partly due to the fact that it was synonymous with the zeitgeist that was being conceived in most white Afrikaans Post-Apartheid youth that suffers of the "white guild" we now have to "un-offically" endure (obviously up to a certain point). I also believe that many South African band were helped by their originality, and we now have Amazing music of all kinds, much rather listen to S.A. music than anything else (except infected mushroom)

Thanks so much for passing along the information. I was a little confused as to the whole dynamic between the old band and the new one. Also, since I hadn't heard Condensate yet, I just figured that they would play some songs of the album to promote it, but now I know better than to assume anything when doing a public write up.

That is not The Original 7ven, and they didn't perform any songs from Consensate, that's Morris's other touring band Morris Day and The Time, not all original members
